Kommentar/Beschreibung

This is a practical module, with conceptual training, a block of methodological training and then fieldwork, conducting ethnographic research on the perspectives and experiences of Halle residents with a migration background, in the context of the 2026 local election. It is suitable for both bachelors and masters students and will include lectures, seminars, practical work and collaborative workshops. The bulk of the fieldwork is in January-February, with lecture-focused sessions earlier in the semester. Teaching and assessment will be conducted in English.
