Kommentar/Beschreibung

This is a practical module, with conceptual training, a block of methodological training and then fieldwork, conducting ethnographic research on the impact of deindustrialisation, industrial change, and industrial legacies, in the region in and around Halle and the Burgenlandkreis. It is suitable for both bachelors and masters students and will include lectures, seminars, practical work and collaborative workshops. The bulk of the teaching and fieldwork is in January-February, with lecture-focused sessions earlier in the semester.
