Comment/Description

This course aims not only to equip you with the linguistic skills to handle casual conversation in English, but also to improve your awareness of ‘formal’ English conversation which you may go on to encounter at universities and in the workplace. Moreover, this course aims to help you better understand conversational norms in English speaking countries and to confidently make use of conversational strategies like small talk. More generally, this course also aims to help you improve your pronunciation, vocabulary, and overall confidence when speaking English, including in ‘high-pressure’ contexts like job interviews.
