Kommentar/Beschreibung

Die LV umfasst 1 SWS Vorlesung, 1 SWS Übung und 1 SWS Projektseminar.
Inhalt ist die Charaktiersierung von Mineralen mit fortgeschrittenen Methoden an Großgeräten (Synchrotronstrahlung, Neutronen) und Licht (z.B. Raman-Spektroskopie), sowie deren Analyse mittels rechnergestützter Auswertung. Die Lehrveranstaltung umfasst eine Exkursion zum Elektronenspeicherring/Synchrotron BESSY II am 03.12.2026.

The course consists of 1 SWS of lectures, 1 SWS of exercises, and 1 SWS of a project seminar.
The course covers the characterization of minerals using advanced methods involving large-scale instruments (synchrotron radiation, neutrons) and light (e.g., Raman spectroscopy), as well as their analysis through computer-aided evaluation. The course includes a field trip to the BESSY II electron storage ring/synchrotron on December 3, 2026.
