Kommentar/Beschreibung

This is a block course aimed at learning advanced sedimentology and 3D outcrop modelling techniques. Drone imagery data will be acquired in a nearby outcrop during a 1-2 day field trip. These data will later be processed for photogrammetry and used to make sedimentological interpretation of the sedimentary facies and architecture. The course is aimed at MSc students in Applied Geosciences with a pre-existing background in basic sedimentology. The participants will learn how to obtain, process and interpret drone imagery data to support sedimentological studies.
