Comment/Description

Was bedeutet es für den Pfarrberuf, wenn immer mehr klassische Kernaufgaben von Ehrenamtlichen wie Prädikant:innen oder Besuchsdiensten übernommen werden? Wie vermitteln sich ausgedehnte Verantwortungsbereiche und der Ruf nach multiprofessioneller Zusammenarbeit unterschiedlicher Berufe in der Kirche?
Was klassischerweise unter dem Begriff „Pastoraltheologie“ verhandelt wird, soll hier auf unterschiedliche beruflich und ehrenamtlich Mitarbeitende in der Kirche geweitet werden. Die Vorlesung führt in wesentliche Theorien zum Pfarrberuf und andere Theorien kirchlicher Mitarbeit sowie ihre historischen, soziologischen und psychologischen Grundlagen ein. Sowohl die historische Entwicklung der Berufe als auch ihre Theoriegeschichte werden dabei jeweils auf den gesellschaftlichen Kontext und die kirchlichen Entwicklungen bezogen. Es kommen auch Aufgabenbereiche jenseits der Parochie und sozialräumliche Differenzen in den Blick. Weitere Aspekte sind Geschlechterfragen und der Umgang mit Diversität. Ausgewählte internationale Vergleiche erschließen immer wieder gemeinsame und spezifisch deutsche Entwicklungen im Protestantismus.
