  • Fähigkeit, die Entwicklung der lateinischen Literatur in der Kaiserzeit und Spätantike zu überblicken und ihre Kontinuitäten und Diskontinuitäten zur lateinischen Klassik zu begreifen
  • Fähigkeit zu selbständigem wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten
  • vertiefte Fähigkeit, Inhalt, Funktion und Formen postklassischer literarischer Werke in lateinischer Sprache zu erfassen und zu interpretieren
  • Wissen über verschiedene Analysemethoden literarischer Texte sowie deren Einordnung in die wissenschaftliche Diskussion

  • Überblick über die lateinische Literatur der Kaiserzeit und Spätantike in ihrer Diskurstradition
  • Analyse exemplarischer Autoren und ihres Oeuvres anhand von Originallektüre und Interpretation unter Beachtung des literaturwissenschaftlichen und historischen Kontextes
  • Einblick in die Überlieferungs- und Wirkungsgeschichte zentraler postklassischer Autoren und Werke
