In diesem Modul werden Grundlagen in der Theorie und Numerik für lineare und nichtlineare Optimierungsprobleme vermittelt. Unter einem linearen (nichtlinearen) Optimierungsproblem versteht man die Aufgabe, eine lineare (nichtlineare) Funktion (Ziel- oder Kostenfunktion) auf einer Menge, die durch endlich viele lineare (nichtlineare) Gleichungen und Ungleichungen gegeben ist (zulässiger Bereich), zu minimieren.
Module contents
  • Lineare Optimierung: Lineare Programme und Dualitätstheorie, Simplex-Verfahren
  • Nichtlineare Optimierung: unrestringierte und restringierte Optimierungprobleme, notwendige Optimalitätsbedingungen erster und zweiter Ordnung, Dualität
  • Numerische Methoden der nichtlinearen Optimierung: Abstiegsverfahren, Schrittweitenregeln, Newton und Newton-artige Verfahren, Straf- und Barriere Methoden
  • Anwendung der behandelten Optimierungsverfahren auf praxisrelevante Problemstellungen
