Kommentar/Beschreibung

Course outline:
This seminar addresses two different target groups: advanced students preparing for their final examinations or writing their thesis, and post-graduate students doing research.
Thus, for one thing we shall be discussing matters of English-language linguistics that are relevant in preparing for the upcoming examinations. Apart from central issues in English linguistics, study techniques that may be helpful for the final examination will be dealt with.
For another, the colloquium offers the possibility to present and discuss ongoing research in English-language linguistics ranging from state examination-/ master theses to larger projects such as PhD- or post-doctoral theses.
