Comment/Description

Die Mikroökonomik ist ein wissenschaftliches Verfahren zur Erklärung sozialer Phänomene. Sie fragt, wie sich Datenänderungen auf Ratenänderungen auswirken. Beispiele: Wie verändert sich die gesellschaftliche Arbeitslosenrate, wenn die paritätische Finanzierung in der Sozialversicherung aufgehoben wird? Wie verändert sich die gesellschaftliche Kriminalitätsrate, wenn Sozialleistungen gekürzt werden? Wie verändert sich die Inflationsrate, wenn die Geldmenge zunimmt? Wie verändert sich die gesellschaftliche Bauaktivität, wenn Wohnungsraum mit einer Höchstpreisbindung versehen wird?

Um diese Reaktionen zu analysieren, geht die Vorlesung in drei Schritten vor: In einem ersten Schritt werden die Marktteilnehmer getrennt voneinander analysiert (Haushalte und Unternehmen). In einem zweiten Schritt wird die Interaktion dieser Marktteilnehmer analysiert. Schließlich wird das Wissen um Marktprozesse durch ein vertieftes Verständnis der institutionellen Rahmenordnung vertieft (bspw. Kredit- und Finanzmärkte).
