Comment/Description

Religion in der Krise? Die Titelfrage hat einen doppeldeutigen Sinn. Einerseits verweist sie darauf, dass mit der Modernisierung des gesellschaftlichen Lebens die Religion, jedenfalls in ihrer kirchlich institutionalisierten Form, in die Krise gerät. Sie ist nicht mehr selbstverständliche für das Ganze der Gesellschaft zuständig. Andererseits wird dieser Verlust von gesellschaftlicher Einheit selbst als krisenhaft erlebt, wodurch wiederum religiöse Bewältigungspraktiken bedeutsam werden. Beide Phänomene und ihr Zusammenhang lassen sich anhand neuerer soziologischer Gegenwartsdiagnosen erhellen, was in dieser Veranstaltung anhand der Entwürfe Armin Nassehis, Andreas Reckwitz‘ und Hartmut Rosas geschehen soll.
