Module assignments

Comment/Description

This course aims at further developing participants’ academic writing skills to succeed at university. We will first explore the generic structure of academic essays followed by an analysis of the linguistic choices writers make to cater for the overarching communicative purpose of academic writing. Throughout this course, participants will have the opportunity to complete and receive feedback upon TWO full-length essays composed in class under exam conditions as well as shorter writing tasks and exercises.
