Comment/Description

Das Seminar bietet Einblicke in die religionssoziologische Forschung und darin angelegte Fragen zur Deutung von Religion. Vor dem Hintergrund aktueller Fragen nach religiöser Sozialisation sowie übergreifender Debatten um Individualisierung, Pluralisierung und Säkularisierung werden dazu verschiedene Perspektiven entwickelt. Neben der theoretischen Vertiefung anhand einschlägiger religionssoziologischer Texte, werden auch empirische Forschungsarbeiten zu Religiosität in Familien in Ostdeutschland diskutiert. Überdies besteht für die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer die Möglichkeit, eigene Literaturvorschläge zur gemeinsamen Diskussion einzubringen.
Hinsichtlich der aktuellen Situation von Religiosität und Kirche in Deutschland nehmen die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer am 9. Mai an der Tagung „Christliche Religiosität in Ostdeutschland im Spiegel familiärer Weitergabe“ in Halle teil. Auf der Tagung werden wesentliche Ergebnisse des Forschungsprojekts „Religiosität in Ostdeutschland“ vorgestellt und von ausgewiesenen Fachleuten in übergreifende soziologische und kirchentheoretische Zusammenhänge eingeordnet.
