Comment/Description

The module goal is to provide participants with the following competences: (1) deepening regional knowledge about the former Soviet Union; (2) understanding, contextualising and critically appraising (post-socialist) transitions; (2) gaining familiarity with multi-scalar approaches – global/regional/local dynamics; (3) gaining familiarity with theories on critical development studies, post- and de-colonial literature; (4) strengthening methodological skills – scientific writing, peer review, presentations.
