Kommentar/Beschreibung

Inhalt
Im ASQ-Modul International Engagiert Studiert haben Studierende aller Bachelorstudiengänge die Möglichkeit, ihr fachliches Wissen außerhalb ihres Studiums in gemeinnützigen Organisationen anzuwenden und dabei ihre sozialen, kommunikativen, methodischen und fachlichen Kompetenzen (weiter)zuentwickeln. Dabei werden sie in Teams aus internationalen und nationalen Studierenden zusammen arbeiten.

Die Arbeitsfelder bei International Engagiert Studiert sind breit gestreut – beispielsweise Ökologie, Kultur, Soziales und Bildung.

Konzept
Das Modul ist ein Kooperationsprojekt zwischen der MLU Halle-Wittenberg und der Freiwilligen-Agentur Halle-Saalkreis e.V. Es basiert auf dem aus den USA stammenden Konzept des Service Learning (deutsch auch: "Lernen durch Engagement"), bei dem praktische, gemeinnützig ausgerichtete Tätigkeiten ("service") mit fachlichem Lernen ("learning") verknüpft werden. Daher ist Bestehensvoraussetzung für das Modul, gemeinsam mit den TeampartnerInnen im Laufe des Semesters pro Person ca. 60 Stunden Service zu absolvieren sowie an den begleitenden Seminaren teilzunehmen.
Die Seminare finden zweisprachig (deutsch/ englisch) statt. Wir begrüßen es sehr, wenn sich die Teilnehmenden in der jeweils fremderen Sprache artikulieren (also die internationalen TN auf Deutsch, die deutschen TN auf Englisch).

Anmeldeverfahren:

Die Auswahl der Teilnehmenden wird nach der Eintragung in StudIP manuell vorgenommen. Das Teilnahmeverfahren für diese Veranstaltung endet am 28.03.2025 um 09:00. Sie erhalten dann nähere Hinweise zum ersten Termin nach Ihrer Anmeldung.
Voraussichtlich ab dem 28.03.2025 finden Sie im Dateiordner "Projekte/projects" die Projektbeschreibungen.
Sie haben während des ersten Termins am 04.04.2025 die Möglichkeit, sich für Ihre Wunschprojekte einzutragen.

Content
The ASQ-module International Engagiert Studiert is open to all students in Bachelor programs. It offers the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in non-profit-organizations outside their academic studies and to develop social, communicative, methodological and professional competences. You’ll work together in mixed teams of students from Germany and from other countries. ASQ stands for Allgemeine Schlüsselqualifikationen and means general key qualifications.
The working areas of this ASQ-module are very diverse – for example ecology, culture, social matters and education.

Concept
The ASQ-module International Engagiert Studiert is a cooperation between the Martin-Luther-University Halle and the Freiwilligen-Agentur Halle-Saalkreis (local volunteer center). It is based on the learning-/ teaching concept of Service Learning.
You, the participants, volunteer in a non-profit organization or you develop and realize a nonprofit project by yourself (=service). Additionally you attend accompanying classes where you exchange your experiences, reflect on your own actions and learn techniques, like project management (=learning). The service is done in teams which can be internationally mixed. So cooperation and coordination within the team is one of the most challenging experiences of this project.

The aims of “International Engagiert Studiert” are to allow intercultural working experiences to all participants, to sensitize your self-perception and to strengthen your self-awareness related to real-world practical tasks and furthermore to enable you to do some volunteer work within your studies.

Each student needs to do a service of 60 hours within the four months of the semester.

Language
The classes will be hold in German and in English. We encourage all participants to try to communicate in a foreign language, i.e. we will really really appreciate to hear foreign students speaking German and German students speaking English. Within your team you need to negotiate the language. The preferred language of the non-profit-organizations depends on their staff.

Registration
The selection of participants is done manually after the registration in StudIP . The participation process for this event ends on 28/03/2025 at 09:00 am. After registration you will get more information about the first session on 04/04/2025.

Presumably as of 28/03/2025, you will find the uploaded project descriptions for the summer term 2024 in folder "Projekte/projects".

During the first event on 04/04/2025 you will have the opportunity to sign up for your favorite project .
