(PHI.07800.02) Profilbildungsmodul Praktische Philosophie: Systematik

Das Seminar bietet einen Überblick über einige zentrale Themen der Philosophie der Sexualität. Zum einen werden wir uns mit der Ontologie der Sexualität befassen und hier insbesondere Fragen betrachten wie: Was sind sexuelles Begehren und sexuelle Lust und wie sieht ihre intentionale Struktur aus? Handelt es sich dabei um rein körperliche Erregungszustände oder ist unsere Psyche an ihnen beteiligt? Welche Rolle spielen sozial konstruierte Geschlechternormen für unsere sexuelle Selbsterfahrung? Worin besteht die Natur sexueller Handlungen? Ist Masturbation eine Art von Sex oder eine davon verschiedene Art von Handlung? Wie lässt sich die Teleologie sexueller Akte verstehen? Zielt sexuelles Handeln von Natur aus auf ein bestimmtes Ziel ab, und wenn ja, auf welches: Lust, Fortpflanzung, oder Intimität? Vor diesem Hintergrund sollen dann zum anderen die Implikationen betrachtet werden, die sich aus derartigen ontologischen Erwägungen für die Sexualethik ergeben. Hierbei werden vor allem Themenfelder wie Prostitution, (Leih-)Mutterschaft, Abtreibung, Objektifizierung, Pornographie, BDSM, Pädophilie, (Non-)Monogamie und Asexualität im Vordergrund stehen.
