Comment/Description

Als Wissenschaft, die die Vielfalt soziokulturellen Denkens, Fühlens und Handelns weltweit erforscht, wird die Ethnologie (Social and Cultural Anthropology) in dieser Vorlesung in ihrer Geschichte, Theorie und Methodik sowie in ihren gegenwartsverankerten und globalen Bezügen einführend vorgestellt. Die Vorlesung ist zusammen mit Tutorium und Übung Teil des Einführungsmoduls, mit dem das Interesse an der Ethnologie als einer sozial- und kultur-theoretisch ausgerichteten, empirisch fundierten und kritisch-reflexiven Disziplin geweckt und der Grundstein für das weitere Studium gelegt werden soll.
