Comment/Description

Einführungsmodul Theoretische Philosophie (PHI.00794.02)

Die theoretische Philosophie mit ihren Teildisziplinen (Metaphysik, Erkenntnistheorie, Sprachphilosophie, Philosophie des Geistes) ist nun einmal theoretisch und nicht praktisch, das heißt: sie hat nicht unmittelbar etwas mit dem Handeln zu tun. Mittelbar aber schon: Im Entscheiden und Handeln machen wir zwangsläufig theoretische Voraussetzungen, etwa: dass es einen Lauf der Dinge gibt, der unabhängig von uns besteht, aber (wenigstens ein bisschen) von uns beeinflusst werden kann; dass unser Handeln von unseren Entscheidungen abhängt; dass es Wahrheiten über die Welt um uns herum gibt, die wir erkennen können; dass wir selbst über uns und unsere Motive Bescheid wissen können; dass wir uns über Handlungsoptionen austauschen können. Die Vorlesung beschäftigt sich mit solchen elementaren Voraussetzungen und führt in zentrale Begriffe und Fragen der theoretischen Philosophie ein. Paradigmatische Theorien, Argumente und Methoden werden vorgestellt.
