Are you close to finishing your studies and interested in starting a doctorate afterwards? Join us for this event and learn what it takes to pursue a doctorate, what opportunities and challenges come with it and what to expect when deciding for an academic career path.

The event will provide you with insights into the doctoral journey – from finding the right supervisor and financial resources to navigating academic challenges and exploring career opportunities in academia. It connects you with experts from Halle University as well as current doctoral candidates. Speakers will share their experiences and perspectives, offering valuable guidance for those of you considering to start a doctorate.

Special attention will be given to the opportunities and challenges international students may encounter when pursuing a doctorate in Germany, as well as to the support structures and perspectives available to them @MLU.
