  • Knowledge of the experimental and theoretical foundations of pulsed NMR
  • Knowledge of the most important NMR experiments in solution and in solids
  • Ability to acquire an understanding of current NMR applications in different field
Module contents
  • fundamental concepts and relations, Fourier transformation
  • relevant isotropic and anisotropic NMR interactions
  • experimental and theoretical aspects of different NMR methods (e.g. high-resolution NMR in solutions and solids, relaxometry, application of pulsed field gradients)
  • applications of NMR techniques in the fields of polymer/biophysics and medical physics
  • presentations of problem solutions and literature research
