Miscellanea Students who wish to attend in preparation of their final BA thesis or 'wiss. Hausarbeit' are welcome to attend the colloquium as well.
The colloquium is also open to students who prepare for their final examination (AuA = Arbeit unter Aufsicht, Staatsexamensklausur) in autumn 2025 in “Anglistik Literaturwissenschaft” (based on the course ‘Restoration Drama’).

Comment/Description

This course is obligatory for students who plan to write their MA thesis in the fields of English Literature and/or Culture. We will consider selected theoretical approaches that help structuring the research and writing the thesis. Students will have the opportunity to present their work-in-progress in class and will receive feedback and further suggestions.

Students who wish to attend in preparation of their final BA thesis or 'wiss. Hausarbeit' are welcome to attend the colloquium as well.

The colloquium is also open to students who prepare for their final examination (AuA = Arbeit unter Aufsicht, Staatsexamensklausur) in autumn 2025 in “Anglistik Literaturwissenschaft” (based on the course ‘Restoration Drama’).

PLEASE NOTE:
The first session for students who wish to attend the Kolloquium in preparation of their final thesis will be on 4 April 2025.

The first session for students who wish to attend the Kolloquium in preparation of their AuA (= Arbeit unter Aufsicht) will be on 11 April 2025.

Finally, an additional objective will be the discussion of recent developments in the field of English literature and culture. Young scholars and (post)doctoral researchers are also given the opportunity to present their work in individual sessions. These sessions are announced at the beginning of the teaching term and open to all students who are interested in joining our discussions.

Please note that prior registration for the course via StudIP is mandatory.
