Studienleistung: Referat. Modulleistung: Hausarbeit. Each seminar participant is required to hold a 10-minute presentation on one of the topics mentioned below (the number of presenters varies depending on the topic). Whilst specific instructions for each topic are provided, all presentations need to define central concepts, provide a succinct overview of the covered literature, and spark a classroom discussion. Hence, every presentation should conclude with at least two relevant questions to open up the discussion. The PowerPoint presentations must be sent to the instructor by January 6, 2015. As most of the topics build on each other, it is crucial that all seminar participants do the assigned readings in order to follow other presentations and integrate theirs into the flow of the course. Moreover, students are required to write a research paper about a political economy issue of no less than 8 and no more than 12 pages (normal margins, 12 point font, Times New Roman, double spaced). |
