Comment/Description

In der Vorlesungen werden überwiegend statistische Ansätze für Fragestellungen der molekularen Bioinformatik behandelt. Methodisch werden verschiedene stochastische Modelle, wie z. B. Markov Modelle, Bayes Netze Hidden Markov Modelle oder Gaußsche Mischmodelle, behandelt und deren Anwendungen in der Bioinformatik diskutiert.

Die Veranstaltung kann unabhaengig von Algorithmen der Bioinformatik I gehoert werden
