Comment/Description

Kirche in Halle ist mehr als die evangelischen Gemeinden der EKM. Verschiedene christliche Konfessionen, freikirchliche Gemeinden, Migrationsgemeinden, Erprobungsräume, Gemeinschaftsangebote der Diakonie und gemeindeübergreifende christliche Gruppen – all das gehört zum Phänomen „Kirche“ in dieser Stadt. Wie lässt sich das ekklesiologisch und kirchentheoretisch denken? Was macht Kirche aus, und wie spiegelt sich das in den verschiedenen Gemeinschaften und Veranstaltungen wider?

Wir wollen uns gemeinsam auf den Weg machen, um christliche Gemeinden und Gemeinschaften in Halle zu kartografieren, Spuren christlichen Lebens in der Stadtöffentlichkeit aufzuspüren, ihre mediale Präsenz zu erkunden und Mitglieder nach übergemeindlichen Beziehungen und Vernetzungen zu befragen. Dabei werden verschiedene Methoden aus Sozialgeographie, Ethnografie, Netzwerkforschung u.a. vorgestellt und ausprobiert.

Das Seminar hat explorativen Charakter und lebt von der Neugier, sich aktiv auf das gemeinsame Forschen und Reflektieren einzulassen.
