Learning organisation Participation in the first session is mandatory as topics for presenation and term paper are allocated then. Participation without attendance during the first session will not be feasible as the participation list has to be finalized in due course

Learning objectives:
- Ability to apply basic models of industrial economics to real-world problems (industry cases)
- Insight into the link between firm capabilities, the industrial base and the market structure
- Understanding of what drives inter-industry and inter-firm differences in productivity and innovation
- Understanding of the interplay between market structure, strategic firm behaviour and market outcomes and how policies can be catered to the needs of dynamic markets
Performance record presentation and oral exam (the latter ensues the presentation) and term paper
