Aims and objectives of this course: - Refresh and strengthen knowledge on social research methods - Improve understanding of fundamental concepts in science philosophy - Acquire knowledge on research designs for institutional analysis and policy evaluation - Study basic techniques for data collection and data analysis in interdisciplinary, particularly, in complex social-environmental and policy-institutional contexts - Develop skills to sample, collect and analyze data, and prepare for thesis writing - Understand specific challenges of field research and learn trade-offs in social research |
