The lecture deals with economic aspects of environmental problems. The focus is on public goods, external effects and their internalisation, Coase theorem, valuation of environmental goods, and environmental policy instruments. A focus will be on the economics of climate change. A list with the content of the lecture will be distributed within the first weeks of the semester.
