This lecture is about synthetic biology. In the first part, different cloning systems will be presented and compared. Special focus will be on modular golden gate (GG) cloning and the introduction into the MoClo cloning system. The second part is about molecular tools for programmable nucleic acid binding and their application in terms of synthetic biology and genome editing.
