Comment/Description

Inhalte:
– Stoffliche Zusammensetzung von Böden (Elemente, Bodenwasser/-luft, Mineralphasen, organische Substanz),
– Chemie der Bodenlösung (Säure–Basen-Reaktionen, Ionen in wässriger Lösung, Redoxreaktionen, Löslichkeitprodukte ),
– Oberflächenchemie (Oberflächenaufbau-/struktur, Sorption, Bodenazidität/Puffersysteme, Verwitte-rung/Neubildung von Mineralphasen, Kolloidchemie),
– Nährstoffe/Schadstoffe (Stickstoff, Schwefel, Phosphor, Kalium, Magnesium, Calcium, Spurenelemente, organische Fremdstoffe

Contents:
- Composition of soil (elements, soil water, soil air, mineral phases, organic matter),
- Chemistry of the soil solution (acid–base reactions, ions in aqueous solution, redox reactions, solubility products),
- Surface chemistry (composition and reactivity of mineral and organic surfaces, sorption, soil reaction, weathering and neoformation of mineral phases, colloids),
- Chemical processes controlling the availability of nutrients and pollutants (nitrogen, sulfur, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, calcium, trace elements, organic xenobiotics)
