I strongly do recommend an additional participation in the Basic Chemistry and Polymerizaiton lab, which takes place from January 20th (08:00) till 31st January 2014 in the same place (vDP 1, 1st floor, 2 full weeks, full days work). It has turned out, that the first lab contains many practical aspects, which you definitely need to know for the second lab course on polymer synthesis. Usually, many students fail if they only participate in the second lab, becaus they are not able to understand and do the basics required for the second lab on polymer synthesis.
