| Miscellanea | The aim of this seminar is to provide an overview dramatic works written by African American authors of the 20th and 21st century and to investigate the depiction of racial issues as well as their development within these plays beyond. How did African-American playwrights reflect race, class, inequality and foster social change within drama and which general tendencies may be detected by analysis these plays on a diachronic scale? |
