| Teilnehmende | In this course, we will ask how to deal with rapid and radical social change in anthropology by focusing on several Nuba Moutains’ monographies that were written between 1947 and 2016. In doing so, we will also scrutinize the interplay between theoretical and empirical work and reflect the political positionality of anthropological writing. This will encourage us to inquire into the shaping of issues that are being raised at a particular time. |
