Participants The course aims at giving students an understanding of management theory. It provides an overview over epistemological issues and institutional basics of management theory. Therefore, management theory will be defined and selected theories of management will be discussed. Further, empirical research as a basis for gaining new knowledge for management theory will be introduced. Students use scientific articles to gain more insights into these issues.
