  • Grundwissen über die Rolle des Staates und der Gesellschaft in ihren Interdependenzen, über Partizipation, Politische Kultur und intermediäre Organisationen;
  • Erkenntnisse über Repräsentation und Repräsentationsprozesse, Legitimation und Legitimität sowie die Funktions- und Stabilitätsbedingungen moderner Demokratien;
  • vertieftes Wissen über die prozessuale und inhaltliche Dimension von Politik; theoretische und empirische Kenntnisse über die Gestaltbarkeit und Gestaltung politischer Prozesse; Herstellung der Einschätzungsfähigkeit über das politisch Machbare und Zuordnung zu verantwortlichen Akteuren mit dem Ziel, Grund- und Spezialfertigkeiten für Berufsbereiche der Politikwissenschaft zu erwerben.

  • Parteien, Verbände, Interessengruppen etc., ihre Funktionen im Prozess politischer Repräsentation und Legitimation, ihre Binnenstrukturen und Kontextbedingungen sowie theoretisch-konzeptionelle Ansätze und empirische Befunde der Partizipations- und Wahlforschung;
  • theoretische Grundlagen der Politikfeldforschung; Policy-Zyklus unter besonderer Berücksichtigung von Agenda Setting, von Implementationsprozessen und -problemen; Beispiele einzelner Politikfelder.
