The course is designed for and primarily aimed at students pursuing the postgraduate master's degree "Joint Master of International Economic Law". Other students, in particular those participating in the programme "Bachelor of Business Economics" of the Department of Economics and Business, are invited to attend as well.
The course offers law students from other countries an opportunity to gain familiarity with the fundamentals of German law by discussing the main characteristics of its legal system with a special focus on constitutional and economic law. In addition, the course provides an overview of the legal regime established by the European Union.
