Comment/Description

Die Vorlesung behandelt zentrale Themen der Umweltökonomik, wie Pigou-Steuern, Zertifikatelösungen oder die ökonomische Bewertung der Natur. Dabei wird ein Bezug zu aktuellen umweltpolitischen Fragestellungen wie etwa der Klimaproblematik oder dem Schutz der biologischen Vielfalt hergestellt.

Die Vorlesung wendet sich primär an Masterstudierende der Wirtschaftswissenschaften, aber auch an Masterstudierende von benachbarten Fachbereichen, die Interesse an und Bezüge zu umweltökonomischen Themen haben. Studierende in fortgeschrittenen Bachelorstudiengängen sind ebenfalls eingeladen teilzunehmen. Kenntnisse zu Grundlagen der Volkswirtschaftslehre oder der Mikroökonomik wären vorteilhaft, sind aber nicht Voraussetzung für den Besuch der Vorlesung.

Im SS 2022 wird nach Möglichkeit eine Präsenzveranstaltung unter Beachtung der gültigen COVID-Regeln angestrebt.
