The course will cover a number of aspects of ultrafast spin dynamics with particular focus on metallic systems and is closely related to the framework of SFB TRR 227, therefore the involved postdocs, PhD and master students are recommended to participate. Although it is a continuation of the course “Introduction into ultrafast nonlinear- and magneto-optical spectroscopy” given within the last year, the people who did not attend will be able to follow. The course will have a module structure: several examples of experimental investigations performed within last decades by various techniques in different systems will be considered. The actual content will be to certain extent adjusted to the interest of participants.
