In the morning we will do an excursion from the floodplain forest towards the institute of Geobotany (Große Steinstraße 79) where we will identify the collected specimens in the afternoon. Important: on Wednesday the 17th April there will be a mail regarding changes in the excursion program, if the floodplain forest is subjected to flooding we will change the excursion route. |

| Miscellanea | Goal of this excursion is to learn about different groups of fungi, their ecology and how to find and identify them. Be it either the big and sometimes tasty mycorrhizal fungi, tiny pathogens on leaves or weird saprotrophs hiding in the leaf litter - fungi are omnipresent and often overlooked and this excursion is about finding them and enjoying nature. |
