Kommentar/Beschreibung

The research seminar will focus on the complex relation between the Masoretic Text, Samaritan Pentateuch, the Septuagint, and some Qumran texts. After a brief introduction to these entities, the meetings will focus on reading the agreements between the SP and LXX and conclusions will be drawn about the nature of the relation between these two texts and the history of the development of the Torah.
