In the winter term 2010/2011, I will hold a seminar on recent efforts to over-come the effects of the global financial crisis. We will focus mainly on reforms undertaken or planned in the European Union and in Germany, comparing them to similar developments in the United States. The goal is to find out whether financial market regulation worldwide is heading in the same direc-tion, or whether there are marked differences between the reform agendas.
